The development included landscaping, a new Visitor Centre, and refurbishment and interpretation of important heritage buildings on the site including examples of Victorian scientific observatories, built at first for telescopic astronomy but later adapted to exploit the then-new technology of photography and innovative esoteric explorations such as magnetic observation.<\/p>\n
In association with X Squared Design<\/strong><\/a> and Robert Wirth<\/strong><\/a>, I assisted RBG staff in the conception, design, fabrication and installation of an interpretive plan for the new development.
