ScreenSound Australia, the National Screen and Sound Archive,<\/strong> is a Commonwealth Government organisation and one of Australia\u2019s premier cultural institutions. <\/p>\n

\u2018Sights and Sounds of a Nation\u2019 is a feature exhibition exploring 100 years of Australian film, television, radio and recorded sound.<\/p>\n

CDP produced two sets of media elements for the opening of the exhibition which was designed by Freeman Ryan Design<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vignettes<\/strong>
\nNine themed collections of audio and video clips from the collections were assembled and pressed to DVD for exhibition display. <\/p>\n

Plasma screens and LCD panels were installed into recesses around the perimeter of the heritage listed gallery space. Each recess included detailed graphic panels and collection objects displayed in showcases. <\/p>\n

Interactive Clips Database<\/strong>
\nVisitors sat together in touchscreen booths to explore hundreds of clips selected from ScreenSound\u2019s extensive collections of Australian film, television and radio archives. <\/p>\n

CDP created the interactive design and sub-contracted Adelaide based Clinic Design to create the software engine to integrate and present the multimedia elements. <\/p>\n

High resolution touchscreens displayed the media sourced from Macintosh G4 computers.<\/p>\n
